A litle about me
Hi My name is Katherine, most people call me Kath. I'm a mum to beautiful 13 year old daughter.
I have always been a firm believer that nature has a way to help us heal if we give our bodies the right support and conditions.
After poor health in my own family this became even more prevalent for me and before gaining my licence to practice homeopathy, I worked holistically running a juicing business where I created fresh cold pressed juices and supported clients through juice cleanses. I ganied a diploma in juicing for health. I also had a range of vegan foods and my own brand of nut butters that I developed.
I've been a teaching assistant for over a decade now and work with children with a range of additional needs.
After completing my first introductory course in homeopathy it felt like I had found the last missing jigsaw piece. I knew that homeopathy was something I needed to learn more of and I embarked on a four year practioner course at the Welsh school of Homeopathy in Carmarthen so that I could learn more and help more people.
Learning about the 'Medical Art', as the father of homeopathy Hanneman named it, was a really special experience as I was challenged to unlearn lots of old ways of learning and at the school we were encouraged to lean into our own unique ways of working, developing confidence in ourselves. Following our own innate cues and curiosity. These skills didn't just teach me how to be a homeopath, but to move differently in the world.
I love to treat patients with homeopathy, learning their stories and charting their progress. The results I have seen take place through the homeopathic process never ceases to amaze me. I love that the remedies are safe and gentle and work with the body. So gentle that I've used it successfully to treat babies! I say the process, as often the consultation process itself can be so helpful, allowing someone the space to turn up exactly as they are and meeting them in that space without judgement can be incredibly moving.
